Simple Technology Solutions is looking for a talented Microsoft Power Platform developer to deliver world-class Microsoft Power Platform applications for our federal clients. As a Microsoft Power Platform developer, you will be responsible for configuring Microsoft Power Platform components and developing customized solutions within the Microsoft Power Platform. You will also analyze requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, wireframes, work in a cross-functional agile delivery team, support testing, deployment, and documentation activities, as well as troubleshoot/resolve errors.
Quick Position Overview:
- US Citizenship is required
- Bachelor’s Degree is required
- Minimum of 5 years position related experience is required
- Preferred Certifications:
- Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals (PL-900 or higher)
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert
- Experience with multiple programming languages)
The Role:
To ensure success as a Microsoft Power Platform developer, you should have extensive experience working with Microsoft Power Platform , application development skills, and the ability to solve complex software problems. Ultimately, a top-class Microsoft Power Platform developer can create dynamic and scalable Microsoft Power Platform applications that meet the changing needs of the company.
The Sr Power Platform Developer at STS will:
– Work as a technical lead for teams and projects
– Perform code reviews and giving direct feedback, owning branch strategy and pull requests, defining standards/processes, instilling coding best practices and security,
– Drive DevSecOps practices, authoring custom frameworks
– Coaching other developers and team members, providing performance reviews
– Work closely with other project leadership
– Work on a cross-functional agile delivery team to analyze and deliver user stories, features, and enhancements.
– Develop customized solutions within the Microsoft Power Platform.
– Design, code, and implement Microsoft Power Platform applications.
– Write unit tests and perform due diligence to meet acceptance criteria.
– Create timelines and develop goals.
– Test the stability and functionality of the application.
– Troubleshoot and fixi bugs.
– Write documents and provide technical training.
– Maintain the security and integrity of the application software
Education and Experience:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree
- US Citizenship
- 5 years experience as a Microsoft Power Platform Developer
- Must be able to work the hours of 8am-5pm Eastern Time regardless of your home location
Preferred Certifications:
– Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals (PL-900 or higher)
– Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate
– Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate
